Curry the three-legged cat home safe
From Monika Jackson, St. Davids, Ontario, Canada
"My cat Curry had his left front leg amputated in January 2007. After he healed he wanted to continue to go outside. I reluctantly let him go for a few hours a day but made sure he was in before dark. This fall, however, he sometimes didn't come home till late and one time stayed out all night. I was very worried because there
are coyotes around where I live near Niagara Falls in Canada. Then, on October 14 he didn't come home even though I searched and called, asked neighbors etc. When he was still gone after a week, I assumed the worst, but still called at night hoping he would miraculously appear.
On Monday, October 29th I went to my meditation group and found out about the Oct. 30th conference call with Will. I decided to call and ask Will about how Curry died and why. When I asked my question I only told Will that Curry had been gone since Oct. 14th, that he only had three legs and that I thought the coyotes got him. Will immediately said 'He's not dead, he's hiding in a small place and he's very afraid. He wants to come home but can't.' I asked were he was and Will told me to go about three acres to the left of my front door and to send out love to him. He told me to go the next day at twilight. He also told me that Curry was in survival mode and was healthy. I was so excited that a few minutes later I hung up and went right away.
Behind my property and to the left about 500-700 feet away is a canning factory and its fence borders my property. There is a place where I can duck under the fence and then I have to cross a field. After that there are piles of skids, some old machines and big wooden crates in which the farmers deliver their peaches and pears. I went across the field in the dark and called him near the skids but got no results. I decided to try the next evening at twilight which was Oct. 31. I called near the skids, sent out love and tried to meditate on his whereabouts but nothing happened. Something drew me over to the crates a little further away across an open area but I was reluctant in case someone saw me. But finally I went over there and called and, sure enough, a cat started to yell from somewhere inside the stacks of crates. I couldn't get to him however, and finally had to go into the cannery to ask for help. Eventually I found two men who came out with me and also heard the cat calling for help. They promised to have a fork lift operator there to help me the next moring.
Early on Nov. 1st, carrier in hand, I arrive at the office, had to put on a hard hat and we went over to the stacks of crates which were stacked 6 high in rows. The fork lift operator moved about sixty crates in all until we got to the crying cat. Every time I called he would answer, so we knew where he was. He was trapped in the bottom crate and there was a space at the top about 3-4 inches wide where he must have gotten in. When the fork lift operator moved the top crate and I could look in, there was my Curry huddled in the corner! I grabbed him, popped him in the carrier and, howling cat in hand, we walked back through the cannery and to my car. At home I noticed that he seemed to have lost a little weight but was fine otherwise. Even my vet couldn't find anything wrong with him.
If I hadn't called Will, Curry would have died in that crate since he couldn't pull himself out with only one front leg and the crates are about three feet high. He had been gone two and a half weeks.
A lot of my friends and family were excited by this miracle and couldn't believe that Will was in Vegas when he told me where Curry was. A few said it was a lucky guess but anyone who has met Will, like I have, knows better. My meditation teacher thinks Will is an Angel come to Earth and I believe her."
